Early Monday morning, February 13th, at about 1am, Centerville Fire was dispatched out with an engine and manpower to provide standby coverage for the Ulster Hose Fire District while they operated at a structure fire in the Skytop Motel. During that time, there was one additional call at 2am for an Automatic Alarm at the Texas Road House. Situation found a system malfunction had occurred. Company 61 had released Company 19 around 4 am and were back in quarters at approximately 4:30am
Between the hours of 08:30 and 13:30, there were 19 calls for tree and/or wires down causing hazardous conditions in the roadway as well as 2 tree on houses. 1 of which was with partial collapse of the structure. With in that time, Mutual aid was received from Glasco Fire for standby coverage and assisting with additional calls. Company 19 also responded to an auto accident involving a school bus with minor injuries. The scene was cleared and 19 Command released Company 29 from their mutual aid assignment.
A couple hours later Company 19 was toned out to 64 Victors Lane for a reported structure fire called in by a neighbor. Situation found was a burning barrel and 19 command returned all units for the final time that day. There were 2 structure fires, 1 auto alarm, 19 tree on wires and 1 Auto Accident, totaling 23 calls.
